Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dhvanii, a meeting transcription and notes service based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“Dhvanii”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Dhvanii records and transcribes meetings you choose to share with it, generates AI-written summaries and action items, and stores those artefacts in your account. We offer the service on a free tier and on paid monthly subscription tiers.

2. Your account

You must sign in with a valid email address. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials safe, and for the lawfulness of the meetings you choose to record. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Record any meeting where applicable law requires consent of the participants and you have not obtained it.
• Use the service to harass, defame, impersonate, or violate the privacy or intellectual property of any person.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account credentials with anyone outside your immediate team.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or interfere with its operation.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay. Subscription prices are listed on the pricing page in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month; access continues until then. 5. Ownership

You own the audio you upload and the transcripts and summaries Dhvanii produces from it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We own the software, brand, and any aggregated, anonymised analytics derived from usage.

6. Third-party services

Dhvanii relies on third parties to deliver the service, including Speechmatics for real-time speech recognition, OpenAI for summary generation, MongoDB Atlas for storage, Google for sign-in, and Razorpay for payments. By using Dhvanii you agree that your data may be processed by these providers strictly for the purpose of delivering the service. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high availability but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcripts and summaries will be perfectly accurate. You should independently verify any decision that depends on a transcript or summary.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dhvanii is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by writing to support@dhvanii.com. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or chargeback their payments without notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and by a banner on the website. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
